They’re going to use computers to predict and stop crimes. Charter can’t use a computer to keep my television working. Computers can’t keep up with my typing. My phone goes out every couple of days, and my Mac can be wildly unstable. And nobody can tell me precisely why…

But – the good news is that they have some really sweet new technology that makes their systems infallible – and they’re using those über computers to predict criminals (who until now have been unpredictable and hard to pin down) and their movements and actions – before the bums even know that they’re going to commit a heinous act.

VIVA TECHNOLOGY!!!

I, for one, rest easy knowing that they’re going to have computers stop crime before it happens. And even cooler – I don’t have to worry about whether or not I’m going to be committing crimes. It’ll be predetermined.

Whew!

Think of all the extra time all the criminals will have now that nobody has to make plans. Maybe they’ll all start blogging!

Good Lord – this country has really gone off the rails. Our senate, house and the (criminal, non-constitutional) government-in-general is considering putting the only easily accessible, widely used and non-suppressed form of communication in the hands of an openly socialist shill for the New World Order? He’ll have a kill switch, and they’ll have the ability to shut down any server, site, blog, gallery – ANYTHING – that they deem as threatening or terroristic.

Now – the concept of shutting off web access to real terrorists is not a big deal, and I’m actually FOR that (sort of.) But – when you understand what they’re deeming as terrorist activity, and who they’re labeling as terrorists – this is downright frightening. Terrorists: Anyone who disagrees with the current regime. Which according to the latest polls, is around 48% of the country.

Terrorism: Disagreeing with Obama or his cronies, having an opinion, believing that the Government doesn’t have your best interest at heart, believing that sunshine is good for you, believing that Global Warming is complete and utter bullshit (which it is.) etc, etc, etc. Thought crimes too, apparently.

Soon, we’ll be stuck with the internet being precisely what television has become – another way for the Illuminati to dumb us down and feed us only the information they want us to see.
